It is something special when the community comes together and worships the Lord with one voice. Thank you Abundant Life for hosting the Bethel team, so we can all share in what they bring - the overflowing love of Jesus. The expectation that in love Jesus will speak to us, heal and set lives free - transforming individuals into who He created them to be.
Ignite Youth are back into the swing of things for 2014!
The best night on the mighty West Coast getting our pipi shuffle on. We love our seafood! We love swimming! We love hanging out together!
What an awesome day at the "Puku Project" Community Gardens. After a tour of the gardens we got to create pizza from the harvest for lunch. Some pretty creative flavours but they all tasted fantastic in the outside pizza oven. Salmon and baked beans - not so sure about that one! The Community Gardens is an amazing opportunity for people to come, work in the gardens, bring the children so they see what veges actually look like in the ground, get dirty and learn how to plant their own garden and taste the spoils of their efforts.
A fantastic end to the year with such amazing support from St Paul's Anglican Church, Symonds St, Auckland. Thank you "Kaitaia Fire" team for being the joy, hope and love. Our Feed My Lambs families were showered with gifts & the nappy necessities. They were so blessed it was overwhelming. We finished the session with a video clip on "The Christmas Story" by St Paul's which reminds us of the most amazing gift of all - Jesus.
Wow! What a year, I loved meeting the new crew that came through and became whanau this year. We shared lots together and stood by each other. It's a journey and we are all on it.....See you all next year ( or sooner ) Enjoy time with the ones you love!
This service was a real eye opener into the lives of several youth who stood and shared stories of their journey's so far. Some from very dark places searching for a new path, others from a life of loneliness, heartache or shame.
We had some kids in church for the very first time and plenty of gratitude for a place to come and be accepted, have fun and hang with peers safely.
It was a great time of ministry and healing with new salvations. So good to have the generations together in the Lord's work!
Thank you so much to Coram Deo for making the huge effort to come up to the Far North ... thank you for serving so generously and for blessing our community with your presence. The workshops were inspiring and great encouragement to all who attended ... the SOAK Worship session on Saturday night was amazing - such a great thing to be able to just soak up the Spirit in worship - out the other end, invigorated and refreshed.
Sunday was a very special day, we had a fantastic time of extended worship, God turned up and did His thing among us in a powerful & beautiful way ... Thank you Coram Deo - please come back soon!
