Services info for 2023

All our Sunday Services are bilingual Anglican Prayer Book Services. We call our services Tikanga Rua Services; in that they are in both Te Reo Māori and in English. On the 3rd Sunday at 8am a Service is held in Te Reo Māori and our Wednesday 10 30am service is in English. All our Services include Holy Communion.

Service Times For 2023 are:

Every Sunday at 9 30am , Tikanga Rua Service ; Traditional Anglican Worship Service with Communion.

On the 1st Sunday of the Month starting at 10 30 am we have Messy Church, which is an Intergenerational Family Service with Communion.

On the 3rd Sunday of every month at 8am the service held is a Traditional Māori Anglican Eucharist led by The P.A.P Pastorate; which is followed on by our usual Tikanga Rua Service at 9 30am, all with Communion.

On the 5th Sunday of the month (when there is a 5th Sunday :) at 9 30am we ‘The Parish of Kaitaia’ hold a Combined Tikanga Rua Service with our Tikanga Partners ‘The P.A.P Pastorate’. With Communion. All are Most Welcome.

Our 9 30am services are Bilingual Anglican Worship Communion worship services. On the 3rd Sunday of every month our friends from the Māori Pastorate lead a Worship and Communion service in Māori. Our 10 30 am service on the 1st Sunday of every month is an Intergenerational service that we call ‘Messy Church’. (Messy Church is where whanau can spend time together in a safe relaxed environment, learning about God together, singing waiata- songs, doing some crafts and sharing some kai. On the 5th Sunday of any month that has 5 Sundays we combine with The Maori (Parengarenga Ahipara Peria - P.A.P.) Pastorate for a Tikanga Rua Service, a celebration our partnership in the Gospel.

We come to church on a Sunday because we like to spend time together and love to worship God as a gathered community, we take time out of our weekly lives to relax, listen and meditate on God’s word together, to encourage each other and so we can share and learn what it means to be a body of believers. We believe that real positive change can happen and so we regularly intercede on behalf of the world and for others, because we believe in the power of corporate prayer in ushering in that change . Being together in God's house, dwelling in his presence, always makes for a good day. 'Filled with his Spirit and fed by His word, I go out into the world knowing I am loved and that there is hope', Dino. Please come along if you are in the area, we would love to meet you. All are welcome.
