to May 14

Our Sunday Services are at 8am, 9.30am and Messy Church at 11am

Our 8am service is a Traditional Anglican ‘Prayer Book’ Eucharist Service: Our service at 9.30am is a more relaxed Family Service with Communion and contemporary music. At 11 am we have ‘Messy Church’, which is where whanau spend time together learning about God, singing some songs, doing some crafts and sharing some kai.

We come to church on a Sunday because we love to worship God as a gathered community, we listen and meditate on His word together so we can share and learn what it means to be a body of believers, and we intercede on behalf of the world and for others because we believe in the power of corporate prayer . We pray passionately for God's purposes to be fulfilled, we break bread together and we always take time out to pray for each others wholeness and wellbeing. Being together in God's house, dwelling in his presence, always makes for a good day. 'Filled with his Spirit and fed by His word, I go out into the world knowing I am loved and that there is hope', Dino. Please come along if you are in the area, we would love to meet you. All are welcome.

Combined Church Service with Bethel

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a night of worship, The Word, ministry and whatever else that comes our way.  It is always an amazing night when we all gather to Praise the Lord with one voice.  We will have the Bethel team from Whangarei and the USA with us, so it is going to be a night not to miss!

We are going to kick off with tea & coffee (maybe a cake or two) from 6.15pm in the St Saviours Church hall.  The service will kick off at 6.45pm.  Invite people along.  The more the merrier!

Christmas Eve Eucharist Service - 11pm

If you are curios to see what a traditional Christmas service looks like, then this is the service to come to. This is a special candle lit service in which we take time to reflect on the meaning of Christmas and celebrate the coming of Christ. It always seems like a bit of an effort to get to church on Christmas Eve but it sure is worth it when you get here. The Christmas message of hope always sparks up a bit of a glow on the inside. You are all welcome.

See you there.

Worship Sessions with Coram Deo

30th November & 1st December 2013

We are excited to have the amazing worship team Coram Deo with Katie Liddicoat at St Saviours.

This is what is in store on the weekend:

Saturday 30th November

1pm for St Saviours Worship Leaders

3.30pm    for St Saviours Worshippers

Exploring worship as a Body of Christ followed by interactive workshops:

Freedom in Worship: becoming unashamed and free in our worship to God

Youth and Worship: what part do youth have in worship? How can youth be set apart for worship

Sound: the part sound plays in worship, in the relationship the sounds guys with the musicians, sound checks, heart attitude for sound.

Congregation and Worship: Worship is not just music - how can I participate in worship if music is not my way of worshipping God?  What part can the people play in worship during a service?

Spontaneous and Prophetic Worship: practical ways to make spontaneous songs work during a service.  Tools to create spontaneous songs and listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit during worship.

6.30pm    United Worship & Ministry

'All at St Saviours along with Local Church Worship Leaders and Teams are welcome to the 6.30pm session for an extended time of worship and prayer ministry'.

When we dwell together in unity, the Lord pours out his anointing and commands a blessing (Psalm 133)!  How good is it then that we come together to worship our Lord and Saviour in the fire of his presence.  We extend an invitation to you to join in a night of worship where we will come together before the Lord and align our hearts with the worship in heaven.  We pray that it will be a time of refreshing and refuelling as we gaze upon the beauty of our Lord and join in adoring the King of Kings.  "Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of our love and faithfulness." (Psalm 115 v1)

Sunday 1st December

9.30am     Coram Deo will be leading us in worship at St Saviours, 9 30am service.

Manifest Presence

It is with a great sense of excitement and anticipation that we invite you to our 10th anniversary conference - Manifest Presence 2013: A Rising Tide. Just as an incoming tide lifts every boat in the harbour, our vision is that every believer, every church, every town, and every city will experience an increasing measure of God’s presence and power as we see the knowledge of the glory of the LORD fill the earth, as the waters cover the sea (Hab 2:14). We look forward to you joining us for Manifest Presence 2013.
